Anywho, saw Star Trek into the Darkness with Y and S and it was awesome. Yes, I only watched it for Cumberbatch (I’ve admittedly never seen Star Trek stuff before), but it was good. And Y and I both say that Khan had a subtle smile on his face while he was in the criotube.

Also tried a dark mocha from Bourbon! Om nom.

This last research paper is so damn annoying! Just finished reading all the secondary sources. Now to write 20 pages. I just wanna be done already. Why is this paper so damn frustrating! It’s even worse than the thesis and I thought that was bad. Aaaarrrghhh. Still mad at myself for taking this class. Yes, of course I procrastinated, but that’s not the point. The point is that this paper (and class) is the most annoying paper I’ve ever dealt with in grad school (even though the topics might be interesting, but being tested on and writing up all this stuff is just bleh!).

This will probably be my last academic all-nighter until med school starts, by the way…

1) My brother bought me a box of mini cupcakes from Baked by Melissa yesterday. I was like oh yea, did I tell you about this store once? He said nope, he just saw the store and thought, “Hey, my sis might like this.”

Sometimes my bro can be so sweet and thoughtful :)

2) Commencement next week. Final tomorrow and research paper due by Thursday (but I’m making my deadline this Monday).

3) I’ve written 10 page papers in undergrad, but for the first semester of grad school, one of the papers I had to write for my 19th cent lit class, I had to do tons of research and thought that was the hardest paper I ever wrote. Then came the papers the semester after. Then there was the thesis this semester - definitely the hardest thing I ever wrote. But I must now finish this last paper.

NBA Playoff Season is now and all these shows are on. And I just need to be writing my thesis. And thinking about the research paper. But all I wanna do is watch t.v. and sleep. And I don’t even watch shows like that. Ugh. And there’s only a month left.

my friend: wakes up at 7 a.m., showers, dresses nicely, gets to class on time, did all the homework, answers questions correctly, always know's what she's talking about, is outgoing, beautiful, funny, has a lot of quality friends, comes from a good family, has a steady boyfriend, has a car, has a 3.8 GPA, has a full scholarship, works two jobs, is in four different clubs plus a sorority, has a executive position in all five, eats healthy, works out daily, flosses, still manages to get to bed at a reasonable hour.
